LED Matrix Breakout (MAX 7219) RED

The single color red led matrix has 64 LEDs arranged as 8 rows and 8 coloumns. The breakout board includes a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) driver based on MAX7219 chip.  The beauty of these displays is that you can cascade them together to make a larger display. Since this is an LED display, the brightness and viewing angle is good. It can be used to make bright displays, pixel games and lot of other hacks!
